Workshop Committee

Call for Presentation

The 2024 BCRW provides a unique platform for researchers working on papers involving blockchain to meet construction blockchain research experts and get feedback on their on-going research. The workshop is interactive and allows for in-depth discussions and individual feedback from the growing community of blockchain scholars.

All attending researchers are encouraged to submit to the call for presentations to share their work. These presentations can be based on work that has been recently completed or that is currently in-progress.

To present, please submit your presentation title and abstract (250 word max) describing the content of your presentation by the deadlines below.

Abstracts Deadlines

  • Face-To-Face Presentations in the Netherlands (preferred option): 20th May 2024

  • Online Presentations (limited slots): 27th May 2024

In addition, we will offer an optional paper development session at the conference. Attendees will have the chance to submit working papers or even a short abstract, which will be the basis for brainstorming and further development in small groups of 3-4 researchers, with the goal to discuss how the paper could be further developed to journal-submission quality. Circulation of working papers will remain within the workshop group and there will be no public paper proceedings. All registered participants will be emailed with further instructions and the opportunity to join the paper development session.

Submissions are now closed

Visa Information

An Invitation Letter for a visa application is a letter the applicant must submit to the embassy or consulate where they are applying for a visitor visa. This document is written by the applicant’s host and addressed to the applicant or the consular officer, confirming that they will accommodate the applicant in their home for the whole period of their stay in the country where the host lawfully resides.

CBC cannot provide Invitation Letter as the CBC is not a resident of the EU. Therefore, participants of the workshop have to arrange their own visas in order to attend.
