Smart Contracts are automated computer protocols intended to facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. They are becoming increasingly sophisticated with the advent of blockchain cryptocurrency tools like Bitcoin Script, Ethereum Solidity and others.
As one of the leading research establishments in the field, the Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution, Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London will be discussing the complexities of the emerging field of Smart Contracts and its interfaces with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the challenges posed by the construction industry and its legal framework.
